Anything Goes at Aurora Wings

It's time for a new challenge at Aurora Wings and the Stella DT is here with some inspiration for you. This challenge is one of my favorites: Anything Goes!

I have used Columbine Sprite for my card. I love Columbines; they remind me of Colorado, where I grew up. I can't seem to get them to grow here in Alberta, though. Oh, well... I'll just have to live with the sprites then. 😉

I coloured the image with Copics, using the B60s for the blue-purple color I wanted to achieve. I decided to use a DP with no purple or blue in it so the sprite would really pop on the card. I added a few flowers to finish it off.

Pop on over to the challenge blog to enter your creation(s). You can enter up to THREE times if you use an AW image on each entry! The prizes for this challenge are: 1 (one) Artist's Choice Award Winner to be selected from entries using Aurora Wings digis ($20 GC and Badge); 1 (one)  Random Winner ($20 GC); and a TOP 3 Winners to be chosen by the DT ($10 GC and Badge). This challenge runs until July 17.

  1. Gorgeous coloring on Columbine Sprite, Myndi! I love them too and did have some in my garden (for awhile sniff, sniff). Will have to visit the B60's because those blue are just stunning and really do pop off the page. Love the tiny print on your DP and the fabulous bouquet, too. xxD

  4. I love the silky richness of the blue in the Columbine Sprite's petals, Myndi! So rich and lush. Blue and white always comes out so clean and fresh, and the pretty flowers definitely add to that feeling. Thank you so much for this lovely inspiration for our latest challenge at Aurora Wings!
