Here in the South...

Hello! It's Monday and time for Rubbernecker Stamps DT #1 to bring you our makes for this week. I am up first with two stamps: "Here in the South" and "Stylized Martini Glass". I love this sentiment. My family is from the south and I can attest this is true. But it may be more of a case of not being able to control the crazy family as opposed to parading them on the front porch. lol!!!

All of my paper is from the Stampin' Up Cupcakes and Carousels collection. I used the Stampin' Write markers in "Brights" for my stamps. I like being able to individually colour the different parts of the stamps with the markers. It's super easy with the dual tip markers. I used the tag punch from SU too. The little ribbon I used on the tag was white, but I coloured it with the Bermuda Bay marker that I used on the stamps so it would match. The other ribbon is from May Arts.

Tuesday, April 25 is the start of another challenge on the blog, which you can access by clicking HERE! The prizes are a $25 GC first prize and a $15 GC second place prize to the Rubbernecker store. Below are direct links to the stamps I used today for your convenience! xx

Kiandra

It's Sweet Sunday at the Rubbernecker blog! And this sentiment stamp... Yes! That is exactly right. A truer stamp was never made. Hahaha! I have used the stamps "Kiandra" and "Tired of Shopping" for my card this week. I just barely, using the lightest shades, coloured in the image. The paper is so vibrant, I didn't want a really vivid image. And it felt a little more retro to me to leave the image mostly alone.

The paper is from Stampin' Up; the stitched dies are from By DieZyne. I don't think you can buy them anymore, but they are some of my favourites. Rubbernecker is going to be producing dies in the future so I am VERY excited about that!

As I said earlier this week, the Rubbernecker site has been overhauled and has a whole new look. Make sure you go check it out when you go to see some of the new stamps they have in store. We started a themed challenge on JANUARY 17!!! The theme is BIRTHDAY! I'm sure you know someone with a birthday, so go check out the challenge rules on the Rubbernecker BLOG and enter your Birthday themed card for a chance to win. The first prize will be a $25 USD gift certificate to the Rubbernecker store. The second place prize is a $15 USD gift certificate. That is pretty awesome! These are definitely some of the best rubber stamps I have ever worked with, hands down!

Rubbernecker Christmas

Today is Rubbernecker Stamps' Team 1 Sweet Sunday post, and if you visit the Rubbernecker blog you get a card from all of us on Team 1. Make sure you go by the blog and check everyone's amazing cards out. I used the new "Santa with Tree" stamp for today's card, along with the new "Happy Holidays" sentiment stamp.

This was a fun and easy card to make. I really love these new Santa stamps! All of my DP is from Stampin' Up. I used the Holly embossing folder from Stampin' Up too! It was a Stampin' Up kind of day, I guess. We very were lucky to have the Rubbernecker folks send us a bunch of ribbon from May Arts to make our cards with. They are really an amazing stamp company, family owned and run. They make all of their own stamps!

Remember, commenting on our Design Team's posts every week automatically enters you to win all of the stamps used on one of the DT's gal's project. We don't know which designer's project will be chosen, and the winner will be chosen by random. So visit the Rubbernecker blog, leave some kind words on all of our DT's blogs, and maybe you will be this week's winner! For all the details visit the challenge page on the blog HERE.

More Christmas Fun with Rubbernecker!

Hi all!!! Back again with Rubbernecker Stamps new Santa stamps. Today I'm using "Santa with Present looking right" and the new sentiment stamp "Heavenly Christmas Season".

The paper I used is from Martha Stewart. It is double sided so I used the dark slate blue side to mat the image and sentiment, and with the pale blue side I used a Sizzix Softly Falling embossing folder from Stampin' Up. I embellished with some beautiful ribbon from May Arts, and an ornament die cut from Stampin' Up's Merry Tags die set. I coloured the image with Copics.
