Happy Monday everyone! Today I have a new Rubbernecker Stamps release called "Bunch of Bears" that I have made into a birthday card.
I coloured the image with Copics, and used Stampin' Up's Playful Palette paper collection to make my card. The lace on the mat is from Maya Road. I also used the "Happy Birthday" set for my sentiment. I coloured my bears natural bear colours, though my Polar bears are a little too grey, and coloured the stuffed bear pink so he stood out a bit more. This is a really cute stamp that is perfect for little kids.
Tomorrow is the start of another challenge on the BLOG, but I'm out of the challenge rotation now. We have had some wonderful new additions to our DT in the last week and some of them will be taking over the challenges as the new Challenge Team. Make sure you are visiting the blog every other Tuesday to see what the new theme is.

Make It Old Challenge
It's time for a new challenge at Rubbernecker Stamps. The theme this fortnight is "Make It Old" in honor of Senior Citizens Day coming up in August. Rubbernecker has some funny senior citizen stamps, and I chose "Ethel with Coffee" to make my card with because I may or may not be on my way to becoming Ethel. I mean, she's got the coffee and the attitude. I just need the old lady hair in curlers and we'll be twins.
The sentiment reminds me of my mom, actually. We used to work with a guy who said that, and then she started saying it, and now it makes me think of her, especially since she's starting to have senior moments. The papers I chose are from Kaisercraft, and that flower print kind of made me think of grandmas. I think mine might have had some wallpaper like that back in the day. 😉
Make sure you stop by the blog and enter this challenge for your chance to win one of two prizes: a $25 gift certificate for 1st place, and a $15 gc for second place. This challenge runs for two weeks.

More Butterflies and Birthdays
Hello! Back again with another new clear butterfly set from Rubbernecker Stamps. I've paired Butterflies 2 with the Happy Birthday clear set for another birthday card. I love butterflies and there are a lot of people in my family, so I'm always in need of a good birthday card. There are eight stamps in the butterfly set, with a big and small version of four different butterflies. I've used one of each butterfly on this card.
I colored the butterflies with Copics, then fussy cut them out. I picked out my paper from Stampin' Up first, then matched my markers to the paper colours.
Make sure you stop by the Rubbernecker blog to check out the other beautiful cards made by our talented DT ladies. I will have another card up tomorrow for the blog challenge, so pop by tomorrow to see what the challenge theme is.
The stamps I used for this card are listed below:

A Vintage Challenge at Rubbernecker Stamps
We are having a Vintage challenge this fortnight at Rubbernecker Stamps. I love vintage inspired anything so this was a lot of fun for me. I used this little girl stamp called Hannah for my card. She is the perfect stamp for a vintage inspired card.
I stamped the image with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I also used a birthday stamp from the Happy Birthday stamp set. I used Michele R Digital Papers in Basic Vintage along with the Basic Vintage Elements 1 Set to make the little envelope and tag. The metal heart and wood butterfly are from Michaels craft stores. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Butterflies and Birthdays
Team 1 is back with some inspiration for you from Rubbernecker Stamps this week. There is also a new challenge going live tomorrow so make sure you check back in for that. Today I have made a birthday card using Butterflies 1 and the Happy Birthday set.
I coloured the butterflies with Copics, using R80s. I was in a black, white, and pink mood today, if you can't tell. I used some heart patterned paper, but kept it pretty simple overall. I wanted the butterflies to really pop.
Make sure you stop by the Rubbernecker blog to check out the other beautiful cards made by our talented DT ladies. I will have another card up tomorrow for the blog challenge, so pop by tomorrow to see what the challenge theme is. I had a lot of fun with it.
Anything Goes at Aurora Wings
It's time for a new challenge at Aurora Wings and the Stella DT is here with some inspiration for you. This challenge is one of my favorites: Anything Goes!
I have used Columbine Sprite for my card. I love Columbines; they remind me of Colorado, where I grew up. I can't seem to get them to grow here in Alberta, though. Oh, well... I'll just have to live with the sprites then. 😉

I coloured the image with Copics, using the B60s for the blue-purple color I wanted to achieve. I decided to use a DP with no purple or blue in it so the sprite would really pop on the card. I added a few flowers to finish it off.
Pop on over to the challenge blog to enter your creation(s). You can enter up to THREE times if you use an AW image on each entry! The prizes for this challenge are: 1 (one) Artist's Choice Award Winner to be selected from entries using Aurora Wings digis ($20 GC and Badge); 1 (one) Random Winner ($20 GC); and a TOP 3 Winners to be chosen by the DT ($10 GC and Badge). This challenge runs until July 17.
